Vision and Values

we:network... for positive change in the West of England

Why is it called we:network?

  • we:network stands for "The West of England Network", but also
  • "we:network, that's what we do!"

What is the vision of we:network?

  • We network across all Christians and others for positive change in all spheres of life in the West of England and beyond
  • We want to release everyday Christians to pursue their dreams and visions, and to fulfil their calling.

What are its values?

  • We network across all Christians (including traditional denominations, Catholics, Black Majority and Minority Ethnic Churches, Evangelicals, Charismatics and Pentecostals).
  • We network across all spheres of life, including: arts and media, campaigns and environment, Christian community, family, health and leisure, mission, politics and police, prayer, social action, workplace and business, young people and students.
  • All of the networks and organisations listed in the Action Zone directory are supportive of we:network and want to work together to bring positive change.
  • We are happy to network with anyone, of any faith or none, who wants to bring positive change to the West of England.
  • We particularly want to release everyday Christians to pursue their dreams and fulfil their calling, in co-operation with local church leaders.
  • Our style is bottom up, not top down. We want to serve and promote other Christians' visions. We are not setting up an organisation, but are catalysts and networkers, who remain largely hidden and invisible!
  • In short, this website is all about YOU, not about US.
