the we:network directory facility aims to provide an up to date and comprehensive list of networks and organisations in the region who are active in their own field in a way that brings positive change. All those listed in the Action Zone directory are supportive of we:network and want to work together for positive change. We see it as a valuable resource to help to link up and network efficiently. Functionally, the we:network directory is made of 4 sections: Actions Zones, Churches, Projects and Businesses. The Action Zone section is further divided into individual action zones for convenience. Each Action Zone covers different spheres of life in the West of england.
Note that the business section is likely to be by paid subscription and will be for trusted businesses whose services are likely to be of use to the rest off the Christian community and beyond.
Directory Status
The directory is by it's nature a 'work in progress'. So far we've been able to spend many happy hours gleaning action zone and church entries from existing known sources and established a useful 'critical mass' of contact information to gives visitors a good reason to bookmark this facility and use it regularly as one of their main contact information references. From January 2009 we are also looking for the site's growing membership to start adding and recommending new entries they find useful and give the wider community the benefit of this extra contact information.

Entry Maintenance
To build and maintain the range and accuracy of details held we'll be sending emails to each organisation requesting they check and update their details. Timely responses to these emails when they are sent will be much appreciated!
Instructions for Using the Directory
Whilst we hope we've made the directory reasonably self explanatory in its use, here are some instructions to help ensure you find what you are looking for.
- To find an organisation you know the name of already, use the alphabet letter links or type directly into 'search' box.
- To see the entire list, one page at a time click 'show all'
- Action Zone sub-directories only - to see a list of the organisations related to any one Action Zone use the 'Action Zone' drop down list and click the one you require.
Additions, updates and corrections are very welcome. In due course registered users of the site will be able to make these themselves to their appropriate entries but in the meantime please send them through to: Directories Editor
